The second volume in the series turns its attention to relations between the state and civil society associations in the Philippines. It combines studies of relations with specific bodies of the state apparatus (executive, legislature and judiciary) with detailed case studies in various policy domains. These include: agrarian reform, anti-poverty, urban poverty, anti-terrorism, trade liberalization, environmental management, women’s rights, and labor and migrant rights.
