Funded by SEASREP, this project aims to design a proposal to do a full-length research on the consumption of pirated DVDs (digital video discs) in the Philippines and Indonesia. The project is an attempt to fray into a different aspect of globalization, one that involves the everyday consumption of goods and the micro-politics that accompany such widespread practice.
