“Star Meat, Cebu Siopao, and the Anti-Muslim Ilaga: The Rat in Philippine Politics,” a public lecture by Dr. Patricio N. Abinales was held last 25 July 2014 (Friday), from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, at the Seminar Room of the GT-Toyota Asian Cultural Center, University of the Philippines-Diliman. Dr. Abinales is Professor at School of Pacific and Asian Studies at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. He recently served as Visiting Professor at the Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman. This public lecture was organized by the UP Asian Center and co-sponsored by the UP Third World Studies Center.
