Dr. Kevin Hewison’s public lecture, “Thailand: The Lessons of Protest,” was held on 14 July 2014 (Monday), from 10:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the Seminar Room 206-207 of the GT Toyota Asian Center, University of the Philippines-Diliman. Dr. Hewison, Sir Walter Murdoch Professor of Politics and International Studies and the Director of Murdoch University’s Asia Research Centre, talked about recent protests in Thailand and their implications on the country’s democratization. This public lecture was organized by the UP Asian Center and co-sponsored by the UP Third World Studies Center.
